Ponies shutout SeaWolves behind Michael Gibbons

BINGHAMTON (WBNG) - Michael Gibbons fired six-scoreless innings in his first start for the Rumble Ponies since April Friday night at NYSEG Stadium on Hogs Night against the Erie SeaWolves, 3-1. Gibbons stuck out six batters, allowing six hits and a walk to earn his first victory in his Double-A career. 

Josh Allen drove in two runs on a base hit in the third inning to give Binghamton the lead. Joey Terdoslavich hit his first home run as a Binghamton Rumble Pony in the seventh inning to extend the lead to three. 

Tim Tebow finished 1-for-4 with a single and three strikeouts. 

Final score: Binghamton (42-43) - 3, Erie (40-45) - 1

Binghamton and Erie continues its five-game series Saturday at NYSEG Stadium. First pitch at 6:05 p.m.
