Rumble Ponies erase early deficit, beat SeaWolves in rubber game

BINGHAMTON (WBNG) -- The Binghamton Rumble Ponies erased an early four-run deficit to beat the Erie SeaWolves, 8-6, in front of 5,342 fans Sunday at NYSEG Stadium.

Tim Tebow did not play due to what manager Luis Rojas called "a stiff back."

Tomas Nido hit his second home run of the season, a solo shot to lead off the fourth inning.

Kevin Taylor went 3-for-4 with 3 RBI, lifting his batting average to .289.

Tim Heiman, longtime voice of Binghamton baseball, announced his 1,000th career game.
