BINGHAMTON (WBNG) -- The mother of a 10-year-old who was found dead in a home in Colesville in February has been formally indicted on multiple charges including murder.
According to the Broome County District Attorney's Office, a grand jury indicted 31-year-old Serina Madden on the following charges Monday.
According to the DA's office, Madden is accused of recklessly engaging in conduct constituting severe neglect, including malnutrition, starvation and lack of medical care, which caused the death of the 10-year-old victim.
12 News reached out to Madden's public defender, Mike Baker, who says he has no comment at this time.
