DEWITT, N.Y. (WTVH) -- There were less than 100 spots available in an after-school program run through the Town of DeWitt Recreation Department.
When the doors of the DeWitt Town Hall opened at 8 a.m. Tuesday, dozens of parents had been waiting in line. Many of them camped out overnight.
Parents told CBS-affiliate WTVH that the program is a unique, fun, and affordable option for their children.
Students in kindergarten through the sixth grade in the Jamesville-DeWitt School District were eligible.
