(WBNG) -- A State of Emergency has been declared for Deposit and Sanford because of flash flooding in those communities Tuesday, according to Broome County Executive Jason Garnar.
The flooding has caused road damage and basement flooding, Garnar said.
"Residents are urged to use caution if traveling and adhere to the signage indicating road damage," according to Garnar's office.
The State of Emergency will remain in effect until further notice.
