Andrea Hankey is a social worker for the Johnson City School District and the owner of Bouncing Monkeys said she is currently battling stage four liver cancer.

The theme of the fundraiser is "Fighting for Kindness" to honor Hankey's motto for life.

"If you could be anything in the world, be kind, and she teaches that to all her students, so we just want to back her up on that and kind of give back to her," said owner of Bouncing Monkeys, Anthony DePhillip.

The event will be located at 2801 East Main Street in Endwell on October 14. It will begin at 10 a.m. and end at 8 p.m. Each admission will be $10.80, including tax, at the door.

All of the proceeds will go to the Hankey family not for medical expenses, but to live the best they can as a family.
