Town of Dickinson, NY (WBNG Binghamton) High school football camps will open up in about a month.

Even without football, there was plenty of hitting going on at Otsinengo Park.

It's part of the fun of the 22nd annual Roadkill Rugby Sevens tournament.

This year, 21 teams, including 6 women's teams came to the Town of Dickinson to compete for the tournament title.

The tournament is a sevens format which means there are only 7 players per side instead of the normal 15 players.

It makes for a more exciting and higher scoring game.

The Games are fast paced and only 15 minutes long with lots of action and long break away scoring.

The Road Kill Rugby Tournament got its name early on in it's history from the comments of the teams that had to travel along the highways to get to Binghamton.

They said they always saw a lot of road kill on the way as they got closer to Binghamton.

A long forgotten Rugby player was overheard saying he always liked going to the RoadKill Tournament.

And so it was known officially or unofficially ever since.
