Vestal, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Summer seemed far off with sub-freezing temperatures Tuesday, but the Anderson Center announced its shows for the 2013-2014 season anyway.

Performers include the Doobie Brothers, Abba: The Concert, and a family show called Galumpha.

The first day of ticket sales for all 10 acts booked for the season is April 8.

The first concert features the Doobie Brothers on July 1.

Anderson Center's marketing director says the summer shows usually draw the biggest crowds.

"Summer is pretty popular," said Marketing Director Rosanne Norris. "We have the outdoor lawn seating, so people love that. You can bring your picnic supper and sit out there and enjoy a nice concert on a summer evening. So that is pretty popular."

Tickets can be purchased Monday at the Anderson Center box office or by calling (607) 777-ARTS.
