Around the Tiers: Try Girls' Hockey

(WBNG Binghamton) An annual, free event for young girls interested in playing hockey is happening this weekend. Coaching Director Herb Griffith, Lauryn Grevi, Riley Smith, Kali Crab and Danica Ball came by to tell us more.

Binghamton Blizzard Girls Hockey Association will be hosting its annual Try Girls' Hockey event on Saturday, September 28th from 3:30-5:00 p.m. at Broome Community College Ice Center.

This event is free to girls of all ages and abilities. Equipment will be available for beginners to use.

In addition, coaches will be on hand on and off the ice.

Come out and see what it's like to play the coolest sport on earth!
