Around the Tiers, Chaplin Silent Films

(WBNG Binghamton) Attention Charlie Chaplin fans, a mini silent film festival is happening this weekend at the forum. Jim Ford and Joyce Jesionowski came by to tell us about it.

B.T.O.S. SHOWING CHAPLIN SILENT FILM FAVORITES APRIL 13TH

The Binghamton Theatre Organ Society, presents a CHARLIE CHAPLIN MINI-FILM-FEST Saturday, April 13 at 7:15 PM with Binghamton University Cinema Professor Joyce Jesionowski's wry comments on Chaplin's winning yet controversial film career.

The Films start at 7:30PM with JIM FORD at the Morton Theatre Organ.

This is the FIRST TIME that "THE IMMIGRANT," "THE PAWN SHOP," "THE RINK," and "BEHIND THE SCENES" have been shown at the FORUM Theatre.

Jim Ford, Binghamton's well known Master Theatre Organist, creates the sound effects and music needed for these 1916-1918 Silent Films forming the emotions behind each story created by Chaplin's genius.

$15 General Public, $10 for Donating Member Family adults and $5 for all under 22 and Full Time Students.

Buy tickets at door as early as 5 PM at the Forum on April 13th.

Open seating and reserved sections for Members (who donate $20 or more to BTOS annually.
