A free Kids Run will follow the 5K at 6:00 p.m.

The start and finish line for both the running races will be located on the Court Street Bridge near RiverRead Books.

Organizers hope to expose participants to the many great businesses located downtown as well as have them experience the "Restaurant Week Preview".

Free parking will be available at all downtown parking ramps.

This free, family-friendly event is organized by Broome County STOP-DWI and presented by SEFCU to heighten awareness about the dangers of impaired driving and to promote healthy lifestyles.

The Chris Thater Memorial is dedicated in memory of Christopher Thater, a 23 year-old cycling enthusiast and Binghamton University graduate who was killed by a drunk driver in Broome County on October 16, 1983.
