Around the Tiers: Cruisin' Pallooza 13

(WBNG Binghamton) The 13th annual Cruisin' Pallooza, presented by Garys U Pull It, is June 28-30 at the Broome County Fairgrounds on Route 11 in Whitney Point.

Friday Night is the Tri County Collision/ERA Decker Real Estate Cruise in, featuring a car and motorcycle cruise to the Broome County Fairgrounds in Whitney Point, originating from the parking lot of NYSEG Stadium (home to the Binghamton Mets), on Henry Street, Binghamton.

The "Cruise" leaves NYSEG Stadium at around 5:45 p.m., and then heads towards the Broome County Fairgorunds, where there will be live music in the form of Outlaw Country with Tim Ruffo on the Greenes Ace Home Center stage, arts and craft and flea market vendors, food and a movie under the stars at dusk and more.

The main event is Saturday's 13th annual Hot Rod and Custom Car Show and Flea Market, with 28 classes of classic cars, trucks and bikes, plus a huge flea market, arts and crafts, yummy food. It's the biggest little car show in the Southern Tier.

New this year, the event features the Yogurlishious Kids Zone, the Ross Park Zoo Mobile, and Pit Stop Challenge where individuals, or teams compete against each other for the best pit stop-tire changing time.

Cruisin' Pallooza 13 musical guests on Saturday feature local favorites, 'Voodoo Highway,' and 'The Look,' from 11 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Sunday, June 30th is the 3nd annual Bike Night During the Day sponsored by Southern Tier Harley Davidson, featuring live music by 'Recycled Zombies.' There's also food, vendors, bike games beginning at 1 p.m., like the slow drag and ring toss, the Red Knights Burnout Box, and more.

Southern Tier Harley Davidson on Front Street will also be scheduling a ride to Cruisin'Pallooza with registration between 9 and 10am with last bike due in at 12:30. The cost is $10 per rider with all money going to CHOW.

This years bike day also has a full blown bike show presented by the Triple Cities Chopper Club! The Bike Show has is no pre-sign ups, you must sign up Sunday between 10-12 for $13.

There are 7 classes , 1) Sport Bikes, 2) Choppers, 3) Metric Cruisers, 4)American Cruisers, 5) Classic (20 years+ old), 6) Touring (Gold Wings,Ultra Classic, 7) Trikes.

Admission is free to all friday night, $5 per person Saturday and $3 per person Sunday. (Kids 10 and under are free) A portion of the proceeds go to the Community Hunger Outreach Warehouse. (CHOW).

Cruisin' Pallooza 13, is also sponsored in party by the US Army recruiting center-vestal, And BC Stop D-W-I.
