(WBNG Binghamton) Chris and Kimberly Hranek share a benefit that supports Trinity Hranek's Fund and heart research.

"Strike Out Heart Defects" is on Saturday, March 22, from 1:30 - 5 PM at Sunset Lanes in Kirkwood.

Cost is $15 a person in advance, and $20 at the door. For kids, it is $10 to play.

To set up teams of four in advance, call Vic at Sunset Lanes at 775-2232. Singles, families and couples are also welcome.

In addition to bowling, there will be 50/50, gift basket, and gift certificate raffles, all donated from local organizations and restaurants.

The benefit will help the Hranek family pay off expenses from their daughters funeral. Trinity lost her battle with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome and Turner's Syndrome on October 14, 2013.

Chris and Kimberly hope to start a foundation to research Congential Heart Defects.
