Ithaca, NY (WBNG Binghamton) It takes a real die-hard to get out on the course in this heat.

Or a late deadline.

Action sports director Brendan O'Reilly takes on the heat, and the Hillendale golf course, in this week's BNG golf bargains stop.

The latest stop on the BNG golf bargains tour is the Hillendale Golf course.

We are on the 13th hole.

Travis Moore the club pro is going to guide our way.

There's water out there somewhere but you say off the tee I'm safe.

"There's a little trouble left with out of bounds, but it's straightforward. You have water in front of the green so the second shot is a little tougher, and it makes this one of our toughest par 4's on the course," says course pro Travis Moore.

And I'm told no one knows this hole better than this guy right here...13 year old Danny Lapp.

Am I in trouble on this one? Am I going to get in trouble?

"You might get in trouble if you don't hit it straight," Lapp says.

OK. Words to live by there.

I'm going to use Danny's help here. 130 in, what do I have to worry about on the approach shot?

"Make sure you clear the hazard and don't go too far because there's another hazard on the other side," says Lapp.

That's easy.
I got it pin high but we are off the green. I have to go through a little fringe. It's been dry lately so is this going to run pretty quick to the hole?

"It is going to run quick to the hole. As you can see it slopes down to the right a little bit and falls off the back side of the green from where we are looking. So it will be quick. We have been watering to make sure the greens keep their healthy look," says Moore.

I have the advantage of a junior champion to finish off my par here, he made a par on his own I'll add. This is a challenge, #13, and 4 is a good number here.

"Yes it is. 4 is a great score here especially when you've never played the course before I think you did very well," Moore says.

I had a little local knowledge and a little extra help. Thanks to Danny, we'll have more on him in the next few days, but now here's how you can have some fun using the BNG bargains.
