BU women's lacrosse led by seniors

Vestal, NY (WBNG Binghamton) The B.U. Women also open their season on the road this weekend, traveling to Pennsylvania to take on St. Francis.

The team is looking to build on last season when they managed only 3 wins.

It has a new head coach and new systems in place.

And is relying on it's 8 seniors to pave the way to their first America East tournament berth.

"We're real excited. Pretty much most of us are starting and we're real excited, just showing a big senior class and having a successful final year," says senior Kimberly McGeever.

The Bearcats are predicted to finish 7th in the conference this season.

They say they're hoping to surprise some people this year.
