Town of Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) The love of baseball and a fallen service member brought the community together for the Second Annual Jordan V. Godbout 10 and Under Little League Baseball tournament.

Jordan was a Susquehanna Valley High School graduate with a passion for baseball and soccer.

After graduating, Jordan joined the U.S. Air Force where he served for four years before he lost his life in a fatal car accident in North Carolina.

Tuesday, little leaguers, family and friends came together for the second year to preserve his memory.

"Means a whole lot to us, so many great people that have put so much time and effort into this," said Vincent Godbout, Jordan's father. "We look forward to this and keeping his memory alive and it's just a wonderful wonderful thing."

Town Supervisor Tim Whitesell was in attendance for the opening ceremonies.

Throughout the weekend there will be raffles, T-shirt sales and concessions with all proceeds donated to the Wounded Warrior Project.
