Vestal, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Visiting Bucknell scored twice in the final 19 minutes of regulation, forcing a 2-2 tie with Binghamton in a non-conference men's soccer game on Tuesday evening at the Bearcats Sports Complex.
The game was the final regular-season contest for the Bearcats, who now head to Stony Brook on Saturday for a 12 p.m. America East quarterfinal game.
Goals by Adam Whitehead and Jake Keegan put Binghamton in command for much of the game.
Whitehead's shot from outside the box in the 20th minute was assisted by Trey Jasenski. Keegan, meanwhile, finished off a cross by Luca Bottoni in the 63rd minute.
The Bison, however, started their comeback on a close-range goal by Mark Kramarchuk in the 72nd minute. Vinny Cinotti tied the game nine minutes later on a rebound, also from close range.
"I thought we started off the match terrific," head coach Paul Marco said. "We are able to get a great goal by Adam and a good finish by Jake. We were able to play a lot of guys tonight so we will be fresh for Stony Brook."
Keegan now has a team-high 10 goals this season. He is the first Binghamton player to reach that total since Cameron Keith also had 10 goals during the 2007 campaign.
Bucknell finished the game ahead on shots, 17-14.
Stefano Frantellizzi made seven saves in goal for Binghamton.
