VESTAL (WBNG BINGHAMTON) Don't sleep on the BU men's basketball team just yet though. With two games to go, the Bearcats are playing arguably their best basketball of the year having won three of their last four games.

Next up is a rematch with Hartford, this time on the road. The first meeting between the two was in a stretch of eight straight losses, but this recent run has given the team a little more confidence.

That's what the team is looking to build on as they chase after a possible six seed in the America East Tournament.

"We're all feeling great, we're starting to play the right way at the right time, and our confidence is at an all-time high right now," said freshman guard Yosef Yacob.

"For the most part we've played pretty consistent basketball," said head coach Tommy Dempsey. "I think I said this when we were losing all those games, that eventually the wins would come if we just stayed consistent, and not to be prophetic or anything but, I think we've played overall pretty solid basketball for a long period of time, and fortunately we've been able to find some wins."

The first time Binghamton played Hartford, the Bearcats watched the Hawks celebrate a 2-point win.

BU tips off against the Hawks at 7 p.m. Thursday.
