Owego, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Front Street in Owego got a new look Wednesday night.

Motorcycles lined the street for this summer's first Bike Night at the Parkview.

The grills were smoking outside the Parkview Restaurant and country rock music had people tapping their feet.

"There's a lot of bikes here tonight and there's a band," motorcycle enthusiast Tim Wainwright said. "It looks like it's kicking off pretty nice."

The weekly event first started during the summer of last year, but organizers wished they had more time.

This year, with the full summer season ahead, they hope it continues to grow.

"We plan on doing this every Wednesday," said Beth Johnson, event organizer and co-owner of Parkview Restaurant. "We have bands lined up until Sept. 4, so we are hoping to build it."

Johnson said she hopes to make it a community event, to draw people downtown during the week.

She also said she hopes to start a farmer's market and invite more artists to show off their work.
