Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) The Sens officially welcome back Ben Bishop, who played 3 games here before heading to the NHL.
They've only played one game this season, but in that game the #1 star was goaltender Robin Lehner. And for good reason. Lehner kept the Binghamton Senators in the game, stopping 35 shots on way to an opening night win.
And Monday the goaltending position just got better.
The Sens officially welcome back Ben Bishop, who played 3 games here before heading to the NHL.
In those three games Bishop posted a 2-1-0 record with a 2.35 goals-against average.
Prior to the trade, he had spent the 2011-12 season with the Peoria where he posted a record of 24-14-0 in 38 games, including a league-leading six shutouts. He was also MVP of the All star game.
The B-Sens are back in action Tuesday at Rochester.
