The goal of any high school senior student athlete has to be to win a championship in their final year.
And it's safe to say that it was mission accomplished in Warrior country.
This weekend the Chenango Valley baseball team won the class "B" state championship.
And that was the cherry on top of a championship season....they finished their year on a win.

For a few of the players that were also on the football and hockey teams, every season was finished with a win against a local team as all 3 squads won a title.

" It's been a dream come true, it really has. We've been working for this our whole lives and I don't even know. Words can't explain it. It's unreal."
"awesome, that's all I can say. You couldn't dream something up like this"

" It's unbelievable. All of them unexpected, completely unexpected from the start. I thought we had no shot at any of them. All year with all of them, everyone just went all out and did their best."

The sectional champion football team and local hockey champs have another championship tie in.
Junior outfielder Adam Greene played for the football team and won a sectional title on the wrestling mat as well.
