Getting new players up to speed will be key for the Candor football team this year.
Coaches say they have a great core of seniors to help bring the young kids along.
The key to this year's team will be it's speed.
Coaches say the offensive line is small, but quick.
"I'll take anyone with foot speed and who wants to work any day over pure size. We refer to them as the little gnats. You can't swat them away, they're always buzzing around you and eventually, you're going to get frustrated, and if all goes well, we're going to wear out the big guys before our little guys are done."
"They're really strong. They've been hitting the weight room this summer and they should turn out fine."
