Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Millions of eyes across the globe were glued to their televisions Friday afternoon as Canada and USA battled in the Olympic hockey semi-finals.

Even though the puck was dropped at noon, people filled local bars and restaurants to watch the game.

At Zona & Co. Grill, fans dressed up in red, white, and blue to cheer on their favorite team.

But there were a few things you couldn't order while the game was on this afternoon.

"We are not serving Canadian beer because we are supporting USA," said bartender Vince Dadmaio.

He said the Olympics are boosting their business.

"We actually had a lot of people come in yesterday for the USA Canada women's game and this is why we're doing such a thing for this game," Dadmaio said.
