Citizen U makes community impact

Town of Dickinson, NY (WBNG Binghamton) A group of teens working with Citizen U are ready to make a communitywide impact.

Citizen U is a 4-H youth development project of Cornell Cooperative Extension and Platt's All County Used Clothes.

It's a five-year partnership funded through Children, Youth and Families at Risk, 4-H National Headquarters, National Institute for Food and Agriculture and the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

Those traveling down Front Street will see a blue bin outside the Cornell Cooperative Extension building, 840 Upper Front St.

Items to drop off include used clothes, shoes and monetary donations.

Those donation will then be used for community improvement projects chosen by the Citizen U teens.
