Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Shopping can certainly leave you with an appetite. How bout a little Czechoslovakian fare?

An ethnic restaurant called "Czech Pleeze" had its official ribbon cutting today.

The eatery specializes in traditional Czechoslovakian and American foods.

Owner Dan McLarney, learned everything he knows about Czech cuisine from his mother, who passed away about three years ago.

"A lot of the reason we even opened this is for her, that's just to honor her memory and keep her recipes alive."

The restaurant is open 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and is located at the corner of Robinson Street and Mason Avenue on Binghamton's east side.
