Drugs, weapons and cash found during execution of search warrant

Vestal, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Police arrested a man after finding over a dozen pounds of marijuana, guns and cash in two Vestal homes.

Thursday, New York State Police and Vestal police arrested Amir Ebadullah-Aslamkhan, 20, of 3116 Briarcliff Ave.

Ebadullah-Aslamkhan's residence and one right next door, 3112 Briarcliff Ave. were both searched.

In all, law enforcement confiscated 13 pounds of marijuana, $35,000 in cash, a loaded .308 caliber assault weapon and two shot guns with ammunition for each.

They also found two switch blades and packaging scales used for measuring and selling marijuana.

A judge arraigned Aslamkhan in Vestal Court and crews took him to the Broome County jail without bail.

He is charged with criminal possession of marijuana in the 1st degree, criminal possession of a weapon 2nd degree and criminal possession of a weapon 4th degree.

Members of the United States Postal Inspection Service and the United States Drug Enforcement Administration also assisted.

Troopers said they anticipate further arrests.
