Endicott, NY (WBNG Binghamton) New details are being released about a teenage girl pulled from the Susquehanna River Wednesday.

Endicott Police confirm the 15-year-old has died.

Fire and rescue crews were called to the 1900 block of Riverview Drive in Endicott minutes before noon Wednesday, on a report that a young teenage girl was in the river.

Crews found Sekia Cureton six feet from the shore of the Susquehanna.

She was taken to Wilson Hospital where she later died.

Investigators say the U-E High School student either slipped or fell into the river, and are calling the death accidental.
