Endicott man arrested for driving drunk

Endicott, NY (WBNG Binghamton) An Endicott man was arrested early Saturday morning for driving with a blood alcohol level more than twice the legal limit.

Timothy Reed, 27, was pulled over at around 2 a.m. Saturday after nearly sideswiping a Broome County Sheriff deputy's patrol car.

Broome County Sheriff's Deputy Mastronardi witnessed Reed driving more than 75 mph and having difficulty staying in his lane.

An open bottle of vodka was found inside Reed's grey Pontiac sedan.

He is being charged with misdemeanors of operating with a blood alcohol level of of 0.18 or more, and driving while intoxicated.

Violations include consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle, speeding in a posted work zone and numerous moving violations.

Reed was arrested, processed and released on tickets to return to Binghamton City Court at a later date.
