Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghatmon) The Broome County Hall of Fame American Legion baseball tournament ended with a walk-off in the seventh inning Sunday afternoon.

Now, organizers are already looking forward to next year.

Tournament Organizer Gil Wood says he's trying to get the tournament back to how it was when it was the World Youth Classic.

He's already gotten some confirmations for next year.

And says while he's bringing back some familiar teams, it won't have nearly as many teams as it used to.

"It's going to stay between 10 and 12. But I just feel right now, it's starting to build up again and next year, we have Puerto Rico, Brooklawn's coming back, Minnesota's coming back so after that, it'll be pretty good," says tournament director Gil Wood.

The World Youth Classic was cancelled in 2007 after a 26 year run due to the cost of putting on the event.

The Hall of Fame Legion tournament took its place in 2008.
