Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Binghamton's Morgan Faughnan made a special commitment when he chose where he'd attend college on Wednesday. Faughnan signed to play football at the United States Military Academy next year.

It made for a special day, not only for Morgan, but for Binghamton high school. As a defensive lineman Faughnan was an all-state selection in both his junior and senior seasons for the Patriots.

He said getting to go to Army is a dream come true.

"I finally get to achieve what I always worked for," Faughnan said. "To be able to go to a school like West Point, where I'm able to have great academics, great athletics and also be able to serve my country after I'm done."

Morgan added that the pageantry around Army football games also went into his decision.
