Endicott, NY (WBNG Binghamton) The Cinema Saver in Endicott, which is Broome County's only discount theater is set to attend the first ever Powerball Drawing, sponsored by SaveAmericasCinemas.org.

The special drawing will help one small theater to afford to make the switch to digital technology.

A cost of close to $200,000 could be needed for a theater to make the switch.

That dollar amount is a struggle for many theaters.

Amber Earle, owner of the Cinema Saver, said; "Now we're switching to digital. So we need new digital projectors, different screens, different sound, different bulbs."

The drawing will take place in Miami Florida on January 11th with support from celebrities and theater industry companies.

The Cinema Saver hopes to have the conversion done by March of this year.
