Endicott, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Some Giants fans could not see their boys in blue Thursday--not at their homes, anyway.

Those at the mercy of the on-going Time Warner Cable-NFL Network contract dispute turned to local sports bars to catch all the action.

The manager of Kelly's Sports Bar said their phones have been ringing off the hook.

"The new Thursday schedule has been working pretty good for the first few weeks and the Giants don't hurt things either. There are a lot of Giants fans in the place," said Manager Randy Roscoe.

"I never agreed with the Thursday night football, but if they're going to play football any day of the week, I think people will come out and watch it," said Jason Graham of Endicott.

According to Time Warner Cable's website, the dispute is due to the cost of carrying the NFL network and a fear it would drive prices too high for customers.
