Maine, NY (WBNG Binghamton) It's possible that no flights will arrive or leave from the Greater Binghamton Airport until Wednesday.

It's not just because of the weather here, but the weather in some of the hub airports such as Washington DC or Philadelphia has forced them to close too, so planes taking off from Binghamton really have nowhere to fly into.

"If you are traveling over the next few days it's very important that you call the airlines on their 1-800 numbers, and also look at their website and they'll be able to give you new information and tell you how to go about rebooking your flight," said Carl Beardsley, Broome County Commissioner of Aviation.

Most of tomorrow's flights will also be cancelled.

All Philadelphia flights out of Binghamton through US Airways are cancelled through Wednesday.

Delta and United flights to Philly will be cancelled through Tuesday.
