Greene, NY (WBNG Binghamton) The girls from Greene are still celebrating one of the most dominant seasons in state history.

The Field Hockey team not only won every game, but only allowed one goal in the entire regular season, and shutout each team in the state playoffs, including a state record tying 7 goal outburst in the finals.

And they are giving some of the credit to the fans.

Head Coach Sue Carlin said, "We have a phenomenal community. You look in the stands, and we have more people here than anybody no matter where we go. We love our community and our support. Without them we are not where we are at."

Senior, Jahna Driscoll agrees. She said, "The fans are awesome. The boys, the moms and everybody. It's a very well-rounded community with great support. We really look to them and they helped us get to where we are now."

This is the 7th state title for the program and coach Sue Carlin.

It's the Trojans first since 2009.

The team graduates 10 seniors.
