Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Opening day for the Binghamton Mets is about 2 weeks away and the grounds crew is busy trying to get the field ready.

But it's been a little bit difficult.

The field still has some snow on it.

And there's a possibility of more wintery weather later this week.

Even still, the grounds crew hopes to have the field ready for the players first workout on Monday.

The B-Mets open the season on a 7 game road trip, starting at Akron.

The first home game is April 14th against New Hampshire.
