Town of Dickinson, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Staff at SUNY Broome awarded ten high school students for receiving the Presidential Honors Scholarship.

To win the scholarship, students had to demonstrate potential and excel both inside and out of the classroom.

SUNY Broome President Dr. Kevin Drumm highlighted the importance of the award.

"Students just want to go somewhere else and we're trying to do our part anyway to convince them that this would be a good place to stay and start a career and raise a family," said President Dr. Kevin Drumm.

All the students picked SUNY Broome as their first choice.
