Hundreds Come To B.U. For Basketball Tournament

Vestal, NY (WBNG Binghamton) March Madness may be long gone, but the basketball action at Binghamton University is heating up this weekend.

The Syracuse Nets AAU basketball team is hosting the 2011 NBC Run the Floor Tournament at the West Gym at Binghamton University.

15 teams made up of girls in grades 7 through 11 from throughout the states are taking part in the weekend event.

And being an AAU event, the teams are made up of the best of the best from a particular area.

Teams will play 3 games Saturday, with playoffs and championship games scheduled for Sunday.
