Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton)
The Binghamton Senators will be without one of their forwards for two of the three games this weekend. The AHL announced Tuesday that B-Sens left wing Darren Kramer has been suspended for three games.
The suspension is a result of Kramer leaving the bench to start a fight during the B-Sens game with Albany on Saturday.
Kramer has already served one game of his suspension, so will only miss two of the games this weekend. He says, he feels the suspension was a little harsh.
"It's something that is kind of out of my control. I mean it was nothing that was intentional, I was trying to defend one of my teammates, I thought it was a legal line change, and that's how it goes sometimes," said Kramer Tuesday. "I was trying to do the right thing, and it turned out there was six guys on the ice. It's something I'll deal with and I'll be ready to go on Sunday again."
The B-Sens get back on the ice Friday night as they start a three game road trip at Hamilton.
