(WBNG Binghamton) Tickets are selling fast to one of the hottest country music artists in America. Tim McGraw is coming to The Dicks Sporting Goods Open in August.

Tickets for the Tim McGraw concert on Aug.16 at the 2013 Dicks Sporting Goods Open are expected to go fast. Organizers say on Saturday that they are close to selling out.

The Dicks Sporting Goods Open will only have approximately 5,000 single-admission tickets available for the summer concert.

There is a limited number of tickets because of the overwhelming response from tournament sponsors requesting booklets that include concert tickets.

Anyone without a booklet who wants to be at En-Joie Golf Course for the concert better act fast, said John Karedas, tournament director.

"We really feel like it's going to sell out, sell out quick," Karedas said. "We're certainly encouraging everybody to go out and get their tickets so they aren't shut out and they can come and enjoy themselves."

People started waiting outside the Dicks Sporting Goods in Vestal at 4 a.m. Local country fans are still shocked that Tim McGraw will be coming to the area.

"It means a lot because a lot of times you have to go away and out of town to see him," said Dawn Garofalo of Endicott. "He's right in our backyard so it was great."

Tickets are available through the website dsgopen.com, the Broome County Arena Box Office and Ticketmaster.

Tickets are $49 each.
