Town of Dickinson, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Nearly three dozen men and women are putting it all on the line to prove they have what it takes to enforce the law.

The recruits spend their days running, doing sit ups and push ups, agility training, tactical training and classroom work.

The six-month Police Academy is designed to push each recruit to their limits both mentally and physically.

The group will continue extensive training until graduation later this year.

Graduation takes place in November.
