Man Shot in Ithaca

Ithaca, NY (WBNG Binghamton) A man is in stable condition at the hospital after being shot early Tuesday morning.

Ithaca and Cornell police responded at approximately 1:30 a.m. Tuesday to 100 Oak Ave. on several reports of people hearing gun shots.

Upon arrival, a 22-year-old man was found alert, conscious and walking around with a non-fatal gun shot wound. He could not identify the shooter.

Nearby residents said they heard four or five shots, but could not see the suspect. A dark colored car was spotted leaving the scene.

The victim was in the hospital Tuesday morning in stable condition.
