Mental Health Association of the Southern Tier hosting 11th annual 'Men Who Cook' competition

(WBNG Binghamton) The Mental Health Association of the Southern Tier will host its 11th Annual Men Who Cook amateur chef competition on September 20, 2013 at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Binghamton, NY from 5:30 – 9:00 PM. 

According to a news release:

Men Who Cook is a signature, one-of-a kind fundraising event featuring the men of our community. ... local celebrities, community leaders, businessmen, politicians and just terrific guys who love to cook as a way to ‘give back to the community’. 

This tasting event showcases the talents of our amateur celebrity chefs who will be serving everything from appetizers to entrees to desserts at 30 stations. 

The event also features a silent auction and raffles with a variety of items including Disney Hopper Passes, an autographed Star Wars cast poster, fine jewelry items from The Jewelry Shop, Ruby & Sons, Goldsmith, and Van Cott, event tickets, an autographed Wayne Gretzky photograph, yoga classes at Bikram Yoga, an autographed and framed Michael Jackson “Thriller” album, restaurant certificates, wine, Greek Peak Waterpark passes, signed Harry Potter cast photo, a painting by local artist Kady Perry, and more.
