State College, PA (WBNG Binghamton)
On the college field, a former Section 4 standout is climbing up the depth chart at Penn state.
DaQuan Jones starred at Johnson city playing both offensive and defensive line.
Now he's focused on defense, but it's not that simple.
Jones looks to see the field more this year because he's worked at improving his play both at defensive end and at defensive tackle.
" I think you have to have one guy who can do that one guy who can play the nose, the three technique and the five technique. It gives you a bonus in the game right now is our wildcard. He can do all three things pretty well right now. You'd like to have that flexibility does give you one more guy who can travel on the road. If you take five now, you might take six because you have an extra guy. So he's a real wildcard for us right now."
Tonight at 11 we'll talk to DaQuan about his play, his improvement and how he's adapted to life playing Saturday games in front of 100-thousand fans.
