A Section 4 lacrosse player will take his talents to college next season, just up Interstate 81.

Chenango Valley senior Kyle Moyer signed a letter of intent to play lacrosse at LeMoyne College in Syracuse.

Moyer says LeMoyne is a great school, with a great program.

And it's close to home.

"A chance to keep winning and go to a winning program. A chance where I can play...be successful both on and off the field and that had a lot to do with it was well, just a chance to play in championship weekend or be part of that is something I was really looking forward to," he says.

Moyer will be re-united with former teammates Josh Klepfer and Cameron Fettish.

But before putting on the green and gold for the Dolphins, Moyer is concentrating on bringing a sectional title to Chenango Valley this season.
