5 time section 4 cross country champion Sydney Williams will continue her running career right up the road in Ithaca.
The Susquehanna Valley senior has verbally committed to run cross country for Cornell University.

The Cornell cross country program has been following Williams since she attended a camp there in the summer of 2008.
Williams says after visiting the school, everything clicked with the girls on the team and academically.

She also visited other big schools like Syracuse, Penn State, Boston College, Brown and Fordham.
Williams became a 5 time section iv class A cross country champion this past November.

A Seton Catholic high school senior has been nominated to play in one of the most prestigious high school basketball all-star games in the country.
6 foot 10 inch Bob Garbade has been nominated to play in the 2011 McDonald's All American game.
This season, Garbade is averaging nearly 15 points per game for the Saints.
The final roster of 24 boys will be announced on February 5th.
The game will be played March 30th at the United Center in Chicago.
Next year Garbade will play his college ball at Princeton.
