Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton)

For the second season in a row, Norwich is off to the state playoffs. Last year, the Purple Tornado lost in the quarterfinal round to eventual State Champion Bishop Ludden at Binghamton High School.

This year Norwich is once again in the quarterfinals, and feels the experience from last season should certainly help them on Saturday.

"You don't really learn to play in big games, until you actually play in them," said Kyle Edwards. "We got the chance last year to play in a couple big games with big crowds and that experience, there's nothing like that. Being able to come out and use that emotion from the crowd, but be able to settle your nerves and just play basketball."

This year Norwich gets Westhill in the quarterfinal round. That game is scheduled for 6 pm at Onondaga Community College Saturday.
