Police offer $10K for Rite Aid robber

Owego, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Owego police are investigating an armed robbery at Rite Aid.

Police report witnesses said a robber entered the store on Jan. 5 at 153 Main St., forced his way into the pharmacy area and displayed a handgun.

The suspect reportedly demanded a controlled substance.

According to emergency communications, the suspect took Oxycodone.

Witnesses reported the robber left the store through a rear exit.

Police describe the suspect as a white male, between 5'10" and 6 feet tall, light colored eyes wearing a black jacket, grey gloves, and a skull scarf.

Owego Police Department is offering a $10,000 reward for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of any person or persons who robbed the Rite Aid store.
