Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Seton Catholic Central and its community welcome the 2012 Class of Hall of Fame inductees.

The 1983 undefeated Varsity Football Team was honored Monday night, as well as Tom Carter from the class of 1970.

Carter was a standout track and cross country star.

200 people dined at the Holiday Inn Arena to celebrate this accomplishment. Ticket proceeds will help the cost of fielding 35 boys and girls teams.

"This is a fundraiser for us, it's also a friendraiser for us. We see the same people here year and year out," says Chris Sinicki. "We are very happy to see the people come and support our programs. And all the proceeds from this evening go to our athletic program."

This is the 49th annual Hall of Fame dinner.

Sinicki says budget cuts shouldn't affect Seton's Athletic program next year.

He estimates eight out of every ten students participates in its athletics program. Sinicki says most play at least two sports; some play three.
