Windsor, NY (WBNG Binghamton) One state championship is hard enough to win, but to win two during a high school career is something pretty special. That's exactly what the Windsor softball team accomplished this past weekend.

The Black Knights won their second Class B state title in the last three years with a 2-1 win over Marlboro in the Championship. It also marked the third straight trip to the final four for Windsor, as the Black Knights lost in last year's semifinals.

For the seniors, this year's title was just that much more sweet.

"It's probably the most exciting thing I've ever done in my life. It feels really good," said senior Morgan Starley. "They kept asking me to describe it, and I really can't because it's the best feeling in the whole world."

"I mean we wanted to win all of those games because we wanted to end with a win," said Ashley Kamp. "We went in thinking we were going to win, hoping we were going to win and we did."

Windsor's title was the third in four years for Section IV in Class B. Chenango Valley won the title in 2010.
