Town of Union, NY (WBNG Binghamton) It's been exactly one week since the Maine-Endwell Spartans completed their undefeated season with a come from behind win in the state title.

But the celebration is still going on.

Hundreds of people cheered on the state champions during a parade Friday morning.

Trailing 20-7 at halftime, the football team rallied for 20 points in the second half and a 27-20 victory for the state title.

Players say they've been getting a ton of praise, in school and in the community.

"It was just a great feeling going out on the field and coming from behind to win the game with my teammates...it's a surreal feeling," says running back Justin Jacoby.

"It's been amazing...a great experience and we're enjoying it," says senior Sean Barrett.

Other teams that made it to the state playoffs were also honored including boys soccer, girls field hockey, boys and girls cross country and the girls swim team.
